Ingredients:

 

5ml, Non-stick pan coating, spray

3 cups, Canned lentils, drained

¾ cup + 1 Tbsp, Water

1 ½ cups, Olive oil

2 ¼ cup, Unsweetened cocoa powder

4 cups, Granulated sugar

2 tsp, Table salt

9 each, Large eggs

1 Tbsp, Vanilla extract

3 cups, All purpose flour

3 cups, Semi-Sweet chocolate chips

 

 

Directions:

  1. Wash hands before beginning preparation & sanitize surfaces & equipment. Preheat the oven and spray baking pan with non-stick coating.
  2. In a blender, puree lentils with water until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, combine lentil puree, oil, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Mix evenly.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until evenly mixed into lentil mixture. Add remaining ingredients to bowl and mix.
  5. Pour brownie mixture into a greased baking pan. Bake for 27 minutes or until brownie is cooked through. Cool and serve.
  6. CCP - *Maintain <40 °F/4 °C after service for storing.
