Slow-braised, fall-off-the-bone beef back ribs finished on the grill and glazed with a smoky, sweet BBQ sauce. Served with creamy whipped mashed potatoes finished with butter and fresh cracked pepper, alongside a buttered corn on the cob for the perfect comfort-food platter.
Ingredients for BBQ Beef Ribs:
4 fully cooked beef back rib portions (10-12oz each)
1 1/2 cup smoky BBQ sauce
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Ingredients for Sides:
4 servings frozen premium French fries
4 ears corn on the cob, shucked
4 tbsp butter, melted
Black pepper and salt to taste
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325 F (163 C). Place the cooked ribs on a sheet pan, cover with foil and heat for 20-25 minutes or until hot throughout
While the ribs are heating, cook the French fries according to the manufacturer's directions until golden brown and crispy. Season lightly with salt
Finish the ribs on a hot grill for 2-3 minutes per side, brushing generously with BBQ sauce as they cook until the sauce is caramelized and lightly charred
Boil or steam the corn on the cob for 5-7 minutes or until tender and heated through. Brush with melted butter and season with black pepper if desired
Plate a generous serving of French fries alongside the grilled BBQ ribs
Add one buttered ear of corn to each plate
Brush the ribs with one final coat of warm BBQ sauce and garnish with fresh parsley
Serve immediately while hot
