Hand Rolled Pizza Fingers

Crispy hand-rolled pizza fingers filled with gooey mozzarella, savoury pepperoni, diced peppers, onions and classic pizza sauce. Fried golden and finished with Italian seasoning. Customers will enjoy these served with warm marinara dip.
Ingredients (Per Pizza Finger):
- 1 egg roll wrapper
- 0.5 oz pizza sauce or thick marinara sauce
- 0.75 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 0.25 oz diced pepperoni or pepperoni crumble
- 0.15 oz green pepper, diced
- 0.15 oz onion, diced
- Pinch of Italian seasoning
- Flour surry or egg wash, for sealing
Flour Surry (Recommended for Production):
- 2 parts flour
- 1 part water
Mix together until a smooth paste forms.

Directions:
Assemble the Pizza Fingers:
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean work surface in a diamond shape
- Spoon the pizza sauce just below the center of the wrapper
- Top with mozzarella, pepperoni, green pepper, onion, and a pinch of Italian seasoning, arranging the filling in a short horizontal line
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling
- Fold the left and right corners inward toward the center
- Roll tightly upward to form a sealed finger
- Brush the top corner with flour slurry or egg wash
- Press firmly to seal and place seam-side down until ready to cook
Deep Fry:
- Heat oil to 350°F (177°C)
- Fry pizza fingers for 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy
- Remove and drain on paper towel before serving
From Frozen:
- Heat oil to 350°F (177°C)
- Fry frozen pizza fingers for 4–5 minutes, or until heated through and golden brown
- Drain and serve immediately
